In the midst of the devastating Los Angeles fires, when all seems lost, hope emerges in the unlikeliest places. It’s in the first responders risking everything to save lives, the communities opening their doors to the displaced, and the resilience of nature sprouting green shoots from the ash. Amid the smoke, hope is a reminder that even in destruction, there is the possibility of renewal. It teaches us to hold on, rebuild, and lean on one another, for every ending carries the seed of a new beginning.

Speaker 1:

Hope When All is Lost. In the darkest valleys, god's light still shines, offering us hope when it seems like everything else is lost. Offering us hope when it seems like everything else is lost. Every setback can become a setup for God to reveal his unwavering faithfulness. When you feel buried by sorrow, let his promises remind you that new life can spring forth from even the deepest despair.

Speaker 1:

Listening to the news recently and watching how people have lost everything in Los Angeles as their houses burned down in the night, my heart was heavy and I couldn't understand how they would be feeling. I tried to put myself in their situation and, yeah, hope seems lost for a number of people. A number of people don't know where to go, what to do, who to turn to, whether even the insurance would pay and what next to do, and suddenly people who had beautiful homes have now become homeless and they feel really hopeless. But I just wanted to say, even in that situation, all hope is not lost.

Speaker 1:

Remember that the God of hope can help you, and so may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, God can turn this situation around for good, and even though it may seem like whatever you're going through is difficult at the moment, God can turn it around for good. Yet I call to mind and therefore I have hope, because of the Lord's great love. We are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning, every new day, God brings compassion. Hold on to the hope in God.
